Karlla de Lima Gaughan

Karlla started her path through rugby in 2005 while a grad physics student in Recife, Brazil. In Recife, she was a co-founder of Recife Rugby, president of Aliança Rugby and created the first independent women's rugby tournament in Brazil. She started her referee career in 2007, where she reached a C1 level in the USA in 2016, a national panel position in Brazil during the pre-Olympic cycle. In Brooklyn/NY she was a Vice president of Brooklyn Women Rugby and for three years she was a Match Secretary of the prestigious RRSNY. After the COVID crisis Karlla moved to Pennsylvania where she married Patrick Gaughan and became the CFO of IRSCA.
